It took 6 years, 3 months, 3 weeks, and 4 days, but it has finally happened. M has her first loose tooth, or rather, her first two loose teeth. Tonight at dinner, P noticed a gap that he hadn't seen before, decided to check her front tooth, and thought it wiggled a little bit. Upon further inspection, we noticed that her permanent tooth has actually already started to come in and that both of her bottom middle teeth are loose. She was bouncing off the walls with excitement tonight with the anticipation of losing her first tooth.
Here's a top down look at her mouth, where you can see the new tooth poking up through her gumline.
In this version, the new tooth is highlighted. Kind of odd, no?

No, not odd. In my growing experience of starting into 6 year old mouths, it seems to happen that way a lot. Hooray for M! Twll her to keep wiggling! Is the tooth fair prepared? :)
Very cool photo skillz my friend. And woo-hoo for loose teeth! My oldest had his teeth come in that way, and I was sure he'd need braces. But he now has the nicest, straightest teeth (according to his dentist). My youngest had his come in the 'normal' way, and his are all crooked. Go figure! :)
The tooth fairy better get ready!

SO cool! Ty is so anxious to have a loose tooth. A lot of the kids in his class have already lost teeth and he feels a little left out.
I agree, the photography skills are great! :)
My oldest's teeth came in that way too. Woohoo - here comes the Tooth Fairy!
Wicked cool photos! And, yep, we had one (or two?) that came in like that as well.
Keep us updated!
Yep, that looks like a loose tooth to me!!!
Nice to see you Steph - have a good day - Kellan
No loose teeth over here, although we've already prepped him on what to do!
How generous is the Tooth Fairy over at your place?
Way to go, M! What an exciting moment :)
Hi Steph - Thanks for stopping by. Hope you are having a good week. See you later - Kellan
